The Braun Project
In September we have been given the project to create a flat iron for the brand Braun with Dieter Rams code. During 3 months, I have learned to use different machines and how to work in group of two.
Durant un projet de 3 mois on nous a confié la tâche de créer un fer à repasser pour la marque Braun en reprenant les codes instaurés par Dieter Rams. Par groupes de deux nous avons fait évoluer notre projet par différents stades de maquette. Notre désir était de créer un fer à repasser qui s’inscrirait dans le quotidien des usagers avec élégance tous en attirant un publique plus masculin grâce à un choix de couleurs plus sombres et dynamiques.
In second year were given the project to create a flat iron for the brand Braun with Dieter Rams code. During 3 months, I have learned to use different machines and how to work in group of two. We first started with paper and cardboard mock-up, then low density foam to finish with high density foam. Our desire was to create an iron that people don’t want to hide, but also compact and ergonomic. We also tried to attract a more masculine public by choosing sober and sophisticated colors.
